The Sojourner Healing Fair!

Saturday, September 8th! 10:00am – 6:00pm!

Join us at The Sojourner Whole Earth Provisions in Greenville, NC for a day-long healing event!

Are you interested in: Crystal healing? The chakras? Sage smudging and energetic cleansing? Reiki? This is the event for you!

Throughout the day we will be offering private alternative healing services, including reiki energy healing, crystal healing, individual guided meditation, and spiritual cleansing sessions. We will be providing demonstrations and information on in-store goods all day long, in addition to quick sage smudging and cleansing sessions outside of our storefront for donations! You won’t want to miss this!

We are also currently taking appointments for private sessions. These are limited in number, and once they are filled, that’s it! Appointments can be made in-person or over the phone at 252-758-7656, but they must be prepaid at the time of reservation.

10:00 – 11:00: Private Reiki Healing Sessions

ALL DAY LONG

= Smudging and cleansing sessions on the sidewalk in front of our shop, for donations! We will have a selection of nine different smudging herbs to use, and experienced instructors on hand to guide you.

= Homemade healing herbal teas and herbal syrup samples for you to try! We will also have recipes for the samples, and an herbalist on hand to answer any questions you may have about our 100+ selection of bulk organic herbs! Bring a mason jar or reusable container for 30% off your herb purchase.

= We will have staff on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about energy healing, crystals, spirit animals, meditation, chakras, aromatherapy, and more modalities toward achieving wellness!

We hope you all had as great a summer as we have. We welcome to Greenville all our local college students! To help get that new dorm or apartment looking and feeling like home, present your valid 2018 college ID for 25% off just about everything in the shop. (some consignment items excluded.)  We have smudge bundles of all kinds, plus great new Turkish tapestries, Divine art, posters, Himalayan Salt Lamps, candles, incense, oils and diffusers, and wyrdly cool decor – if its mystical and uplifting, we probably have what you need!

Have you been interested in trying a reiki energy healing session? Have you heard of smudging with sage, but unsure of how it’s done? Do meditation, spirit animals, singing bowls, and crystals interest you?

Visit The Sojourner on Saturday, September 8th for our  healing and wellness fair! We will be providing healing services all day long, 10am-6pm, for donations ranging from $10 – $60 depending on the length of the session!

We will have multiple people on site offering a variety of experiences:

• Reiki Energy healing
• Crystal healing
• Smudging and cleansing sessions
• Affirmations, and guided meditations

We will have staff available all day to assist you with learning about the healing properties of the crystals, herbs, tools, and symbols that we have in-store.

The Art of Sigil Witchery Workshop and Book signing with Laura Tempest Zakroff

The Sojourner welcomes Llewellyn author of 4 books on Modern Traditional Witchcraft, Laura Tempest Zakroff!

Her tour brings her through Greenville on Thursday, October 4th.  Her musical partner Nathaniel Johnstone will serenade us during her free book signing that begins at 4:00 pm. We will have her books and artwork available for purchase.

The workshop will follow from 6:00-8:00. Seating is limited, please register in advance by calling 252-758-7656

The Art of Sigil Witchery: Workshop, $30

Sigils are magical symbols that are designed to influence ourselves and the world around us. Explore a fresh, innovative and intuitive approach to crafting your own designs. Tracing through history, art, and culture, we’ll look at the basic elements that make up all symbols, consider meanings, and see how to safely and respectfully incorporate them into your own personal practice. Bring a writing implement and notebook.

About the Author:

Laura Tempest Zakroff is a professional artist, author, dancer, and designer. She holds a BFA from RISD (The Rhode Island School of Design) and her artwork has received awards and honors worldwide. Her work embodies myth and the esoteric through her drawings and paintings, jewelry, talismans, and other designs. Laura has been a practicing Modern Traditional Witch for over two decades and revels in the intersection of her various paths with witchcraft. She blogs for Patheos as A Modern Traditional Witch, Witches & Pagans as Fine Art Witchery, and contributes to The Witches’ Almanac, Ltd.

She has two books published by Llewellyn Worldwide: The Witch’s Cauldron: The Craft, Lore & Magick of Ritual Vessels (May 2017) and Sigil Witchery: A Witch’s Guide to Crafting Magick Symbols (January 2018) with two more on the way – The Witch’s Altar (co-authored with Jason Mankey – November 2018) and Weave The Liminal: Living Modern Traditional Witchcraft (January 2019). Laura resides in Seattle, Washington, with her partner Nathaniel Johnstone and at least three cats.
