This weekend, September 17th and 18th, is the Pagan Pride Days Festival at 974 Youth Center Drive in Raleigh, at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds! This is an annual event that draws local area community to celebrate together in the spirit of unity.

From their website: “The Central NC Pagan Pride Days Festival attracts more than 4000 pagans, pagan friends and the pagan curious every year. Open to the general public, this autumn celebration offers two days of both entertainment and education through social, commercial and spiritual activities. All are welcome to join or observe rituals, attend workshops, meet local groups, and much more, all in a festival environment full of vendors, music, and fun.

As a community, we work together to support many local non-profits during this event: The entry fee to the event is one canned or non-perishable good or $1 to support the Food Bank of Central NC. Every year we raise thousands of pounds of food to donate, and try to up the number every year! We also accept appointments for a blood drive during the event with The Red Cross. This is in addition to numerous animal rescues and refuges accepting donations and animal sponsorships during the event!
